RedEmber Recruitment is seeking to hire an HR Manager based at the client in Woodstock.
- Recruitment.
- Training (Coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge)
- HR Administration including HR Reporting (HRspecific measurable)
- Personnel files.
- HR policies & procedures (develop implement and update)
- Job descriptions (develop implement and update)
- Organograms (develop and maintain)
- WCA/IOD reporting.
- Payroll functions including:
- Processing the salary payroll.
- Overseeing and approving the wage payroll.
- Overseeing the time & attendance system.
- Liaising with Employee Benefit funds.
- Industrial relations including:
- All disciplinary & Grievance processes/incidents.
- Interaction & liaison with Trade Union officials.
- Bargain Council/CCMA representation.
- Legal Compliance including all Labour Legislation & reporting requirements.
Internal relationships:
- Senior Managers
- Department Managers
- All employees
External relationships:
- Recruitment agencies.
- Training service providers.
- Employee Benefit providers.
- NTBC.
- SACTWU.
- Compensation Commissioner.
Requirements
- HR Diploma.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Payroll experience SAGE Cloud would be advantageous.
- Bargaining Council experience (NTBC would be advantageous)
- Experience in trade union interaction
- Computer literacy (MS Office).
- Functional and Behavioral Competencies:
- Communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Be able to work independently.
HR Diploma. A minimum of 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment. Payroll experience, SAGE Cloud would be advantageous. Bargaining Council experience (NTBC would be advantageous) Experience in trade union interaction Computer literacy (MS Office). Functional and Behavioral Competencies: Communication skills. Interpersonal skills. Attention to detail. Be able to work independently.
