The Senior Digital Shelf Solution Architect is a technical expert dedicated to designing and implementing comprehensive solutions that enhance the client online product presence across various digital retail platforms including marketplaces and retailer websites. By leveraging advanced technology and industry best practices this role ensures that product information is accurate compelling and consistent thereby maximizing product discoverability and sales potential on the digital shelf.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in computer science Information Technology or related field.
- 10 years of experience in solution architecture with a focus on digital platforms.
- 35 years hands on expertise with digital shelf platforms retailer APIs and clean rooms.
- Knowledge of digital shelf management best practices.
- Strong understanding of ecommerce landscape and various online marketplaces
- 35 years expertise with PIM DAM and CMS systems like Aprimo Stibo Sitecore.
- Deep expertise and experience managing content in syndication platforms Salsify and/or Syndigo.
- Familiarity with ecommerce platforms such as Amazon Vendor Central Shopify among others.
- Experience with A/B testing is a plus.
- Strong web technologies frameworks and best practices including HTML CSS JavaScript React/Angular and REST APIs.
- Strong programming skills in relevant languages (e.g. Python Java .NET).
- Expertise in data management and integration technologies.
- Expertise in MACH architectural approaches
- Extensive experience with Web Services (SOAP/REST) architecture and GraphQL is a plus.
- Experience with deploying and utilizing Cloud ecosystems including Azure or AWS is required
- Experience with SEO and tagging (analytics).
- In depth experience working on an agile team adopting DevOps and CI/CD as well as scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of web development fundamentals and best practices for enhancing product page performance.
