Pay Rate: $90000 to a maximum $115000 with 10% AIP.

Position Purpose:
We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our dedicated team and contribute to our continued growth and success in the regulated water sector. This position will play a critical role in supporting the financial planning analysis and reporting activities for the regulated water business. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with senior leadership to drive financial performance ensure compliance and deliver insightful analysis to inform strategic decisions.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities:
- Partner with department heads and senior leadership to collect data assess assumptions and provide clear financial guidance on revenue costs and capital expenditures.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly variance analysis comparing actual financial results to budgeted figures identifying key drivers of any discrepancies and offer recommendations for corrective actions and strategies to improve financial performance.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior leadership and department heads highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) financial trends opportunities and risks.
- Continuously assess and improve financial reporting and analysis processes identifying opportunities for greater efficiency accuracy and automation.
- Collaborate with IT and Finance teams to optimize the use of financial systems software and data analytics tools for more effective decisionmaking.
- Provide strategic guidance and recommendations based on financial analysis findings highlighting risks opportunities and areas for optimization to drive business performance and value creation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop executivelevel presentations and strategic planning documents that effectively communicate complex financial concepts and insights.
- Stay informed on industry trends regulatory changes and emerging best practices in financial management within the regulated utility sector.
Qualifications :
Education/Experience/Background:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Mathematics or a related field; advanced degree (e.g. MBA CFA) preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis preferably within the regulated industry (utility or water sector experience highly desirable).
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Strong understanding of utility accounting principles financial reporting standards financial modeling forecasting budgeting and variance analysis.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g. Excel Hyperion PeopleSoft).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to stakeholders.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously meeting deadlines and delivering highquality work in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams and build relationships.
