Job Title: Surveyor / GPS Technician
Location: West Chester OH (Onsite)

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detailoriented Surveyor/GPS Technician to join our team in West Chester OH. This role focuses on supporting heavy highway and civil construction projects including earthwork paving structures and underground utilities. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in GPS technology and survey practices along with a passion for delivering highquality results in a fastpaced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide construction layout data and machine control/survey models to support field production.
- Create manage and maintain project layout data and GPS machine control files.
- Establish and standardize GPS survey models for efficient project operations.
- Coordinate and schedule layout tasks with field operations.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures for GPS construction layout.
- Perform calculations for alignments drainage structures and roadway modeling.
- Conduct quality control checks on data and survey calculations.
- Collaborate with field teams to ensure effective utilization of GPS construction data.
- Troubleshoot and adapt to changing project requirements.
- Maintain professionalism and uphold company values while performing job duties.
- Lead or direct the work of others as needed.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
- Minimum of six months of experience in GPS and construction field layout particularly in heavy civil construction.
- Proficiency with Trimble survey equipment and software including Trimble Business Center GPS base and Rover.
- Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
- Familiarity with heavy highway and survey practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to shifting project demands.
Preferred Experience:
- Handson experience with GPS technology and construction layout in heavy civil projects.
- Solid understanding of construction processes including earthwork paving and drainage.
