Job Description

Job Title: Impartial Workplace Investigator
Location: Rancho Cordova CA (Hybrid)
Type: FullTime
Industry: Law Practice

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled attorney investigator to join a reputable team specializing in workplace investigations. This role involves conducting impartial investigations for public and private sector clients across various industries. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in workplace investigations excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering highquality timely results in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct impartial workplace investigations into issues such as harassment discrimination and ethics violations based on client needs.
  • Prepare detailed investigation reports that include clear findings and actionable recommendations.
  • Independently manage investigations while adhering to industry best practices and client expectations.
  • Collaborate with the team during onboarding and provide support for complex investigations.
  • Maintain responsive and professional communication with clients throughout the investigation process.
  • Meet annual billable requirements of at least 1700 hours.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree with active licensure to practice law in California (in good standing).
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3 years of thirdparty workplace investigation experience.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proven ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.

Preferred:

  • Certification: AWI membership or certification (preferred; willingness to obtain may be considered).
