Job Description

What youll be doing

Were seeking a talented individual to join our Restructuring & Recovery Services team in London which provides advice and assistance to all types of businesses and organisations encountering financial difficulties. Our clients include company boards owners and shareholders lenders borrowers customers employees and other individual creditors and in many cases we act as a bridge between key stakeholders to enable viable practical solutions.

As manager your responsibilities will include among others

  • Manage a portfolio of insolvency cases and ensure cases are efficiently and proactively progressed.
  • If suitably qualified/experienced participate in restructuring advisory work from time to time.
  • Ensure staff are briefed and motivated in order to complete cases efficiently. 
  • Review and supervise staff work and comment constructively on their performance. 
  • Review statutory documents for compliance with Insolvency regulations and relevant standards. 
  • Prepare case reviews and brief partners on work carried out and business issues.

Qualifications :

To be successful in this role you would need:

  • Ideally either a qualified accountant or JIEB.
  • Substantial experience of corporate (administration/liquidation) is necessary.  Experience of LPA receiverships is desirable.
  • Comprehensive knowledge & understanding of insolvency legislation and other statutory requirements.
  • Quick to learn/adapt to new procedures/situations and able to work effectively in a fastmoving environment.
  • Ability to organise and to be able to work on several different assignments at one time.
