Decklaration is seeking a talented parttime UI/UX Designer to join our team and contribute to creating exceptional digital experiences for our clients. We are looking for someone with a passion for design a usercentered mindset and the ability to transform ideas into intuitive impactful interfaces that drive engagement and growth.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead the UI/UX design for various mobile and web applications from concept to delivery.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including product managers developers and other designers to ensure a seamless and cohesive user experience.
- Create and maintain design systems style guides and UI pattern libraries to ensure consistency across products and platforms.
- Work with clients to understand their business goals and user needs and develop design solutions that meet their requirements.
- Communicate design ideas and solutions effectively to clients stakeholders and team members through sketches wireframes prototypes and presentations.
- Use tools like Figma Zeplin AdobeXD and other design and prototyping tools to create highfidelity design mockups and prototypes.
- Conduct user research and testing to gather insights and feedback and iterate designs accordingly.
- Use agile and scrum methodologies to ensure timely delivery of design solutions that meet business and user needs.
- Mentor junior designers and contribute to the growth and development of the design team.
- Stay uptodate with the latest design trends tools and technologies and apply them to improve the design process and outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor in Design Computer Science or relevant field
- 12 years of work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
- Portfolio of design projects
- Experience in Figma Zeplin AdobeXD and other design and prototyping tools
- Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision)
- Uptodate knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
- Good timemanagement skills
Requirements Must be residing within the UK Native English language skills Up-to-date knowledge of web technologies. Understands current learning theories. Comfortable using software such as Blackboard or WebCT to post lecture notes, assignments, and supplementary material for students. Solid tech skills and professional experience working with front- and back-end JavaScript, for example, Node.js, React/Redux, and Postgres expect that knowledge to be tested throughout the interview process. Experience teaching adult learners or coaching/mentoring junior engineers is highly preferred. Ability to coach and mentor with empathy, while holding learners accountable for their own development.
