Job Description

We are hiring a Clinical Nurse Specialist Occupational Health in a Private Hospital in Limerick Ireland.
We are hiring a Clinical Nurse Specialist Occupational Health in a Private Hospital in Limerick Ireland.
37.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead Occupational Health practices policies and procedures in line with legislation best practice and Safety Health and Welfare at Work Act.
- Administration of personnel referrals preemployment and vaccination and immunisation programs.
- Coordinate and manage other various Nurse led Programmes including bloods maintenance of records for all staff.
- Advise on and administer immunisation programmes.
- Conduct assessments on staff post incident.
- Provide emergency assessment and initial treatment/first aid of employees injury or illness and make referrals to outside services where required.
- Audit operational processes to the standards of best practice in order to optimise use of resources and to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
Requirements
- Enrolment in the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Irelands (NMBI) General Division Nurse Register.
- Relevant to the specialised field of occupational health the Level 8 Award
- Two years or more of occupational health experience ideally in a hospital setting.
- Shown dedication to the welfare health and safety of employees.
- Outstanding administrative IT communication and organising abilities
