Job Description
Within Egis Design Center in Thailand you supervise the Power Supply team for the acquisition and delivery of Projects assigned by the group across the world.
Egis Design Centre in Thailand proposes design services for Railways Electrified Projects around the word. The expertise of the department is articulated around :
Traction Power Supply Systems DC & AC
High Voltage Power Supply and distribution Systems and
Low voltage distribution network and lighting
Power Quality studies and Interface with public Grid authorities /
EMC/EMI & Electrical Safety
Earthing & Bonding Stray current management
Interfaces with other sub systems
As a Manager of the Power Supply team within EDCT you are expected to:
- Lead and organizer Power designs and calculations within implementation and renewal projects
- Lead and Train a team of design engineers comprising if necessary BIM and CAD operators;
- Manage the design production in terms of Quality timelines and budget;
- Manage the relationship with the client and other stakeholders;
- Participate to tenders technical proposal and business development actions
- Coordinate with the headoffice technical team for which the design center is developing its competencies
- Establishes and participates to R&D actions
- Providing guidance training and feedback with other related disciplines and skills locally and across Asia.
The scope of Works covers:
- Urban Mass Rapid Transit Systems
- Suburban Conventional and High Speed Railways
- Mostly greenfield projects but occasionally Brownfield projects too
- From Conceptual Design to Detailed Design
Occasionally projects outside of the railway environment
Qualifications :
- Master Degree in Electrical or Electrotechnics Engineering
- Minimum 10 years experience in Power Supply Design (traction High Voltage distribution Low Voltage) for Railways Projects
- Qualified professional working under limited supervision capable of performing technical studies
- Ability to work in an International Context Outstanding English (oral & writing)
- Relevant experience in handling leading and checking power conceptual and detailed designs for greenfield and brownfield projects
