Areas of Responsibility
- Take ownership of customer account management including negotiating contracts and agreements to maximize value for both customers and the company.
- Serve as the trusted goto contact for all matters related to your accounts.
- Build and maintain strong lasting relationships with customers ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Develop and execute strategies to retain existing customers and attract new ones by identifying opportunities to grow through upselling and crossselling.
- Meet revenue targets by responding to inbound inquiries and generating leads proactively leveraging your market and product knowledge.
- Showcase Informa Techs products solutions and services as the best answer to customer needs and market challenges.
- Share accurate forecasting and performance updates with stakeholders highlighting potential risks and opportunities.
- Lead projects to deliver customer objectives while aligning with company goals managing the process from start to finish.
- Collaborate with colleagues managing shared accounts to deliver consistent highquality service.
- Keep customer records updated including interactions transactions and account plans using Informas CRM system.
- Build a professional social media presence through social selling to engage with customers and prospects.
- Stay informed about our products services and solutions by collaborating with internal teams.
- Share industry insights and updates with your colleagues to enhance team knowledge.
- Commit to personal and professional development with a tailored Individual Development Plan (IDP) based on Informa Techs Sales Excellence Competencies.
- Stay ahead of market trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
- Attend relevant industry and Informa events to expand your expertise and network.
- Take part in crossbusiness projects as needed.

- Expertise in the Events Digital Media and Marketing sectors with a deep understanding of products solutions and services.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand P&L measures and broader industry dynamics.
- Analytical skills to review data draw actionable insights and make informed decisions.
- Experience in developing and executing customer account plans and accurate forecasting.
- Ability to engage complex stakeholders foster strong relationships and sell tailored solutions.
- A focus on results with experience achieving revenue targets and managing budgets effectively.
Sales Expertise
- Familiarity with proven sales methodologies and practices.
- Strong negotiation skills for complex contracts.
- Ability to create compelling proposals and close deals confidently.
Communication
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal to engage diverse audiences.
- Comfort presenting in facetoface telephone written and virtual environments.
Systems
- Proficiency with Salesforce (or similar CRM systems) and MS Office tools like Word PowerPoint and Excel.
