Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and manage FortiGate firewalls including firewall policies NAT rules interfaces and zones.
- Implement and maintain FortiAnalyzer and FortiManager for centralized logging monitoring and configuration management.
- Design deploy and manage Virtual Domains (VDOMs) for multitenant environments.
- Configure and troubleshoot Dynamic Routing protocols (BGP) in a firewall environment.
- Monitor security logs and perform threat analysis to enhance firewall security.
- Ensure network security best practices are followed across routing switching and firewall architecture.
- Work on Basic Routing and Switching including VLANs interVLAN routing and access control lists (ACLs).
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to optimize network performance and security posture.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Fortinet NSE4 certification is mandatory.
- Strong handson experience with FortiGate firewalls FortiAnalyzer and FortiManager.
- Indepth knowledge of firewall policies NAT address objects interfaces and zones.
- Experience with Dynamic Routing (BGP) configuration on firewalls.
- Solid understanding of firewall architecture and security best practices.
- Basic knowledge of Routing and Switching concepts.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve network security issues effectively.
- Experience in logging monitoring and compliance reporting using Fortinet tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other network security platforms (Cisco Palo Alto Check Point etc.).
- Familiarity with cloudbased security solutions (AWS Azure GCP).
- Knowledge of SIEM solutions for security event management.
