Role & Responsibilities
- Adhere to Embryology SOP and protocols as defined by the company.
- Manage the IVF Lab all assets in the lab and andrology function
- Daily supervision of all check points i.e. sterility cylinder level temperature etc
- Lab & Inventory management (TQM)
- Patient data recording & research
- Semen sample preparation
- Proficiently carry out procedures in the lab Embryo culture Andrology ICSI vitrification andrology embryo biopsy time lapse laser hatching.
- Train and administratively manage the Lab technicians at the center.
- Ensure ethical practice as per ICMR and existing government guidelines.
- Drive high success rates as per defined protocols.
- Diagnostic Semen Analysis & Semen Preparation for Treatment
- Oocyte Retrieval (Ovum Pickups) & Denudation
- Insemination including ICSI / IVF
- Fertilization Check
- Cryopreservation Gamete / Embryo
- Culture dish preparation
- Participate in laboratory maintenance tasks & assist in validation within the laboratory
- Assist in the management & maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Oversee the procurement of laboratory products & services
- Adhere to all standard operating procedures
- Meet laboratory Key Performance Indices for all critical laboratory tasks
- 1Participate in internal & external QA & achieve a satisfactory level of performance
- Assist in the implementation of decisions concerning embryology department
- Maintain purchase orders for all laboratory processes and monitor inventory for same and coordinate same with purchase department.
- Exercises autonomous professional responsibility for assessment of and provision for the counselling needs of patients.
- Maintaining highly complex sensitive information taking into account confidentiality whilst maintaining patient safety.
- Promotes and maintains good working relationships within the team and other unit
- Sharing information knowledge and learning from demonstrated expertise
- Having 510 years of experience in Clinical Embryology
- Strong interpersonal communication skills ability to listen to various opinions and propose constructive solutions
- Familiarity with laboratory quality control inspection and troubleshooting procedures.
- Excellent knowledge transfer and management skills
- Ensure adherence to NABH Standards and Protocols
- Documentation and Audit Readiness
- Patient Satisfaction Index
- Adherence to quality protocols as per the lab requirements.
- Accuracy in analysis and report generation.
