Job Description

Job Title: Head of ECommerce

Location: Onsite Gojra

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Head of ECommerce to join TriVA responsible for setting the strategy overseeing the execution and ensuring the success of our ecommerce clients online sales efforts both on websites and marketplace platforms. The ideal candidate will have 510 years of experience in ecommerce management with proven expertise in scaling online stores and managing marketplace sales in both the European and U.S. markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop ECommerce Strategy:
    • Lead the development and execution of TriVAs ecommerce strategies for clients aligned with their business objectives.

    • Define clear ecommerce goals for client growth focusing on increasing sales improving user experience and expanding market presence.

  2. Oversee Website and Marketplace Sales:
    • Provide strategic direction for clients ecommerce websites marketplaces (e.g. Amazon eBay) and other sales platforms.

    • Drive ecommerce sales by optimising product listings enhancing SEO managing pricing strategies and ensuring a smooth customer journey.

    • Maximise revenue growth by identifying new marketplace opportunities and expanding product ranges.

  3. Team Management and Collaboration:
    • Lead and guide the team of virtual assistants assigned to ecommerce clients ensuring they work collaboratively to meet the clients goals.

    • Work closely with other departments (marketing creative services and operations) to ensure the successful delivery of ecommerce solutions.

  4. Market and Competitor Analysis:
    • Monitor and analyse competitors online strategies emerging trends and digital marketing techniques in the ecommerce sector.

    • Provide insights and recommendations on product performance customer behaviour and market trends to inform future strategies.

  5. Client Relationship and Satisfaction:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with TriVAs ecommerce clients providing consistent updates on project status performance metrics and recommendations for improvement.

    • Ensure the clients are fully satisfied with the strategic approach meeting their KPIs and business objectives.

  6. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
    • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for ecommerce clients and consistently track performance to ensure goals are met or exceeded.

    • Analyse and report on ecommerce performance focusing on key metrics such as sales growth customer acquisition conversion rates and ROI.

    • Present findings to clients and make datadriven decisions to enhance sales performance.

  7. Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay ahead of the curve on ecommerce trends tools and technologies and continuously optimise TriVAs ecommerce strategies to meet client needs.

    • Drive innovation by recommending new strategies testing new ideas and ensuring continuous improvement in ecommerce offerings.

  8. Budget Management:
    • Manage the budget for ecommerce campaigns and initiatives ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently to meet client goals.

  9. Training and Development:
    • Lead training sessions for TriVAs ecommerce team to ensure everyone is up to date with the latest ecommerce tools trends and strategies.

    • Foster an environment of continuous learning helping the team expand their expertise and drive better results for clients.

Key Criteria for Assessing Suitability:

  1. Experience:
    • 510 years of proven experience in ecommerce management with a strong focus on both website and marketplace sales (e.g. Amazon eBay) in European and U.S. markets.

    • Experience working with international clients and managing crossborder ecommerce operations.

    • A solid understanding of ecommerce platforms (Shopify WooCommerce Magento etc.) and marketplaces.

  2. Leadership and Team Management:
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide inspire and motivate teams to deliver highquality results.

    • Ability to manage and collaborate with crossfunctional teams including virtual assistants marketing professionals and creative teams.

  3. ResultsDriven and Analytical:
    • Proven track record of driving ecommerce growth through strategic planning data analysis and market insights.

    • Strong analytical skills and ability to leverage data to drive decisions optimise performance and maximise ROI.

  4. ECommerce Strategy Expertise:
    • Deep knowledge of ecommerce trends online sales strategies digital marketing techniques (e.g. PPC SEO email marketing) and customer acquisition strategies.

    • Expertise in managing and optimising product listings pricing strategies SEO and product content.

  5. ClientFacing and Communication Skills:
    • Excellent clientfacing communication skills with the ability to build and maintain longterm relationships.

    • Ability to explain complex ecommerce concepts and strategies to clients in a clear and actionable manner.

  6. Innovation and Adaptability:
    • Comfortable working in a dynamic fastpaced environment and staying ahead of evolving trends and technologies in ecommerce.

    • Passion for continuous improvement and innovation in ecommerce strategies.

  7. Market Knowledge:
    • Expertise in the European and U.S. ecommerce landscape understanding local market trends consumer behaviour and legal requirements.

    • Experience with different ecommerce models (directtoconsumer B2B etc.) and international sales strategies.
