This is a fulltime position with Los Angeles Unified School District. The ideal candidate for the Senior Regional Construction Scheduler position would be an experienced and detailoriented professional with at least eight years of experience in construction scheduling ideally in educational or public works projects. This individual should be highly proficient in Primavera and MS Office Suite and possess strong expertise in managing complex project schedules including reviewing contractor baseline schedules performing critical path and earned value analyses and conducting time impact analyses for change orders. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of construction drawings across various disciplines and be able to interpret scope and contract terms to assess schedule implications. They should be skilled in supervising and mentoring project schedulers ensuring that project timelines are met and coordinating effectively with senior project managers OARs contractors and other stakeholders. Strong communication organizational and planning skills are essential along with the ability to provide detailed reports to upper management and lead schedulingrelated meetings. A bachelors degree in architecture engineering or construction management is required or a degree in any field with additional relevant experience. The candidate must also have a comprehensive understanding of cost engineering scheduling and schedule forensics and be capable of managing the staffing needs of the scheduling team.
