A Brief Overview
The Pricing Analyst II is tasked with managing the data & analysis to execute and communicate pricing and business strategies aimed at growing volume and total company profitability. This role involves supporting the Consumer Pricing team & our key stakeholders serving as a liaison to deliver data analysis and business cases that inform strategic decisions. Additionally this position plays a crucial role in developing the organizations pricing strategy and ensuring account profitability.
What You Will Do
Creates and conducts adhoc reports as requested by the Pricing team with minimal supervision.
Creates and prepares month end reporting with minimal supervision.
Completes the monthly close process by preparing journal entries and requesting checks
Handles all account logic updates in Mainframe including set up of new program pricing for insurance and commercial clients by established deadlines. This includes updating pricing plans in the event a client is acquired and managed fleet end customers between program plans.
Conducts internal audits on ongoing basis to ensure accuracy of data in Mainframe. Supports Pricing team with external audits by compiling records and reports and vendor communication as requested.
Prepare and distribute client notification communication to internal sales team. Maintain general knowledge and understanding of client contracts to answers questions from Shop Care and Account Managers regarding client rates.
Implements and tracks contract price changes in the Mainframe as requested. This includes submitting changes for net priced parts across insurance companies.
Prepare and load attribute pricing updates into Mainframe.
Identify and maintain Labor2 and Fuel Surcharge contracts which requires crossreferencing information against an external database.
Performs other duties as assigned

What You Will Need
Bachelors Degree Bachelors degree (Finance Analytics Marketing Engineering) or equivalent work experience Required
13 years Relevant experience Required
Reporting using Cognos Excel and PowerPoint Required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Medium proficiency)
Advanced knowledge of financial modeling or pricing techniques (Medium proficiency)
Proficient in Microsoft Products such as Excel and PowerPoint (High proficiency)
Proficient in Tableau or similar business insights tool (High proficiency)
