Job Description
- Record session notes track progress and report observations for SLP review.
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions in compliance with state guidelines.
- Assist in preliminary screenings for speech and language delays as directed by the SLP.
- Execute treatment plans and activities tailored to achieve students communication goals.
- Coordinate with teachers families and school staff to provide wellrounded student support.
- Partner with the supervising SLP to deliver therapy services to students with communication needs.
- Guide students in developing effective communication skills to support classroom engagement and social interactions.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Communication Disorders or a related field.
- Current SLPA license or certification in the state of Illinois (required).
- Ability to follow treatment plans and work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Experience working with children preferably in a school setting (preferred).
