Job Description
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings including IEP meetings.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students speech and language abilities.
- Track and document students progress adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students using evidencebased practices.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Educate students families and school staff on strategies to improve communication skills.
- Work with teachers special education staff and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into students educational programs.
Requirements
- Hold or be eligible to apply for an ASHA certification.
- Hold a Masters Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
- Ability to apply for an SLP license in the state of Tennessee (reimbursement available).
- CFYs (Clinical Fellows) are strongly encouraged to apply and will receive dedicated supervision.
