Salary and Benefits
- Starting salary: AUD $73150 per annum

Skills Provision is seeking a Design Draughtsman for a position in Queensland Australia.
The employing company requires a candidate with experience in the design of material handling equipment. Visa sponsorship is available for international applicants.

Contract: Permanent / Threeyear visa
Location: Queensland Australia
Role Overview
As a Design Draughtsman your responsibilities will include:
- Creating designs using industrystandard software
- Gathering requirements from key stakeholders
- Calculating dimensions weight limitations and material specifications
- Producing design specifications material lists and technical reports
- Identifying and addressing potential design issues
- Ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards
Requirements
- A minimum of five years experience in draughting material handling equipment
- Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and Autodesk Inventor 3D software
- Experience in the design and draughting of material handling equipment such as conveyors and hoppers
- Willingness to travel across sites as required
- Strong teamwork skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency in the English language
International Applicants
- A valid passport
- Willingness to undertake a Trade Skills Assessment if required
- Ability to develop a thorough understanding of relevant Australian standards applicable to the equipment being designed
- Completion of an IELTS or PTE English language test if necessary
