A fulltime FMLA Occupational Therapist (OT) position has opened up for a committed School Occupational Therapist. This opportunity provides guaranteed fulltime hours for the rest of the school year!

Key Duties Overview:

Document progress and communicate effectively with school staff and families.
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations for schoolbased therapy services.
Provide direct and consultative therapy services in alignment with students Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
Work collaboratively with students teachers and parents to support student success in academic and functional skills.
Assess students needs and develop individualized treatment plans to address fine motor skills sensory processing selfcare and other functional abilities.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program and hold a current Illinois state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist. Having experience working in a school setting with K12 students is highly preferred. The candidate should have a strong understanding of child development educational assessments and therapeutic interventions tailored to the school environment. Excellent communication and collaboration skills are essential as the role requires working closely with students teachers parents and other professionals to support student success.
