Role Breakdown:
- Maintain detailed documentation of assessments progress and treatment objectives.
- Recommend adaptive tools and environmental adjustments to support student engagement and participation.
- Deliver targeted therapy sessions focused on fine motor development sensory integration and functional independence.
- Collaborate with educators and parents contributing insights during IEP meetings and developing intervention strategies.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of students motor sensory and cognitive abilities to design personalized therapy plans.

Requirements
The ideal candidate should have a Master s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution and hold a valid Illinois state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist. Prior experience working with K12 students in a school setting is highly preferred. A solid understanding of child development educational assessments and schoolbased therapeutic interventions is crucial. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential as the role involves partnering with students teachers parents and other professionals to foster student success.
