About Company: Our client is a startup network infrastructure company that specializes in providing managed services for infrastructure network management data integrations and application management in Nigeria. The Company is known for its reputation for highquality service delivery and customer satisfaction.
The company is seeking to hire a reliable Network Project Engineer who will be tasked with the responsibility of ensuring smooth operations and implementation as regards deployments maintenance and upgrades on the company s technology network. The scope of the functions and responsibilities would pertain to the branchs technical operations MW and Fiber field engineering and technical activities
Key Responsibilities:
Provision of support for network management and infrastructure
Facilitation of deployment of infrastructure and hosting for new mandates
Coordination of branch technical operations for network maintenance and support
Supervision of field engineers and RF/ Fiber technicians carrying out operational duties
Execution of any additional responsibilities stipulated and communicated by the GM Operations
Support and manage all network deployment and maintenance/support activities.
Requirements
HND/BSC in Computer science Electrical Engineering Information Technology or any relevant field
Project management skills strong IP routing experience microwave radio deployment experience (Licensed and unlicensed)
MTCNA and MTCRE certification is highly desirable
Additional certifications like Cisco Certified Network Associate MikroTik Certified Routing
Engineer or UBNT is an added advantage
Strong time management and organizational abilities.
Strong Knowledge of Unlicensed Wireless Platforms (UBNT) and IP Fundamentals.
Knowledge of basic OSI or TCP/IP configurations and troubleshooting
Good analytical and problemsolving skills
Handson experience with monitoring network diagnostic and network analytics tools
Key Performance Indicators:
Deployment/ Installation cycle time
Performance Target: 72 hours from award to integration & testing for Leased Services.
Performance Target: 48hrs from award to integration & testing for pointtopoint radio links
Production of a Deployment/Installation checklist to be used companywide for all types of deployments.
Production of postdeployment documentation with pictures and configuration information.
Develop strategies to reduce costs of Deployments Logistics and maintenance work as measured monthly.
Speed of resolution of customer complaints Performance Target: 48 hours from receipt of downtime notification
Production of Comprehensive Weekly Availability Statistics for the Network.
Production of Quarterly Availability Statistics & reconciliation with all clients within 10 working days of the new quarter.
Production of weekly reports highlighting underperforming sites and remedial action to be taken/recommended.
Specific Expectations:
S/he is expected to ensure that all equipment hardware and software to be utilized in site installation is adequate suitable tested and configured before dispatch
S/he is expected to coordinate with the accounts department to ensure the timely dispatch of all equipment to the site.
S/he is expected to coordinate with the activities of the help desk to ensure that all customer requests are responded to as quickly as possible
S/he is expected to manage the activities of the field engineers and technicians to ensure that their duties are always carried out costeffectively with diligence and professionalism
If required s/he is expected to attend the site to provide deployment or remediation services as the need arises.
S/he is expected to ensure that all activities carried out are in adherence with the guidelines of the manual of operations
Benefits
Compensation: N350000.00 monthly net other interesting benefits.
