Job Description:
The Partnerships and Strategic Alliances Manager will drive business development build a strong sales pipeline and foster strategic B2B partnerships to meet revenue targets. Key duties include client relationship management preparing proposals representing the company at events and developing sales strategies.
Your daily adventures include:
Business Development and Sales
- Develop new business opportunities build a strong sales pipeline and achieve set revenue targets
- Establish rapport and arrange sales meetings with relevant clients
- Create proposals demos and manage client requests and inquiries
- Identify trends and customer needs and build a short/medium/longterm sales pipeline agreed upon targets
- Promote the company s value proposition to address or predict clients objectives
- Demonstrate creativity in brainstorming new products/services for partners including contributing to product development and design
Relationship Management
- Network with related businesses and foster strategic B2B partnerships
- Drive broader stakeholder management while bearing in mind the company s highlevel goals mission and vision
- Represent the companys brand in current and new client engagements and public fora including representing the company at various conferences and global events
- Contribute to the growth of the business by playing a variety of adhoc roles as and when required
General
- Always serve as the face of the company.
- Act as champion for the companys growth aspirations
- Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers and meet regularly with management and stakeholders to discuss business strategy
- Manage proposal response process including detailed RFP/proposal requirements content creation and inputs from various sources
- Generate new leads identify and contact decisionmakers screen potential business opportunities select the deals in line with strategies and lead and facilitate pitch logistics
- Develop and implement overarching outbound sales and business development strategy sales processes structure and best practices across the company
- Support deal structure and pricing
- Maintain and share professional knowledge through education networking events and presentations
Requirements
What it takes to succeed:
- At least 5 years of experience in business to business (B2B) sales required particularly in digital financial services (FinTech s MNOs and banks). Insurance sales experience across multiple regions would be highly advantageous
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales and/or business development targets and deadlines
- Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field is preferred
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining complex relationships within large multinational organisations
- Strong interpersonal skills outgoing and driven by engaging with others
- Ability to work in a fastpaced unstructured environment i.e. noncorporate!
- Strong quantitative and analytical problemsolving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically Excel and PowerPoint
