We are hiring MRI Safety Officer CS Radiographer/Deputy CS Radiographer to a leading hospital in Dublin Ireland.
Responsibilities
- The capacity to organise and deliver services in an efficient and resourceful manner including the ability to work in a fastpaced setting.
- Demonstrate good communication skills especially the capacity to convey a message smoothly and convincingly across a number of mediums (oral writing and electronic).
- The ability to manage and develop oneself and others in the workplace as well as to provide leadership in the delivery of specialised services.

- Understanding departmental and hospital quality improvement plans and actively participating in them.
- To lead guide and supervise radiographers and other staff as well as successfully implement MRI safety procedures while making the best use of all available resources.
- Collaborate closely with MRI CSRs MR Radiographers and Medical Physics to establish document and implement safe working procedures in the MR environment.
- Liaise with the Head of Radiology Operations on staff rotation through MRI to ensure that adequate number of qualified personnel are available.
- Maintain a sense of priority for the patient in all hospital activities.
- Assist in directing the professional organisation and management of the MRI departments services as well as being aware of the Departments resources.
- Support the Head of Radiology Operations (or designee) in leading a professional team within the Radiology Department to build and promote a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements
- BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography.
- Qualification must be recognised and approved by CORU
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in MRI and a postgraduate study in MRI.
- Additional MRI safety training is desirable.
