Job Description

Prado Power a trailblazer in the renewable energy sector is seeking a visionary and detailoriented Head of Accounts Department to lead our financial operations. This senior role is integral to ensuring the organization s fiscal health strategic growth and compliance with international financial standards as we continue to revolutionize the energy industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer all fiscal activities including accounting payroll budgeting purchasing billing financial reporting banking investments and debt management.
  • Ensure compliance with federal state and local financial regulations adhering to IFRS rules and guidelines.
  • Prepare assemble and analyze financial data to create comprehensive reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Present detailed monthly quarterly and annual financial reports to the executive team.
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of subordinate accounting personnel fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Plan coordinate and manage the company s accounting system and debt service implementing effective asset management strategies.
  • Oversee banking transactions including wire transfers funds management and investments while administering contracts with financial entities.
  • Approve payments review invoices and verify purchase order authorizations for accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with purchasing laws by reviewing purchasing procedures.
  • Prepare and present annual financial and budget statements in line with IFRS requirements.
  • Collaborate with various departments on budget preparation implementation and financial system improvements.
  • Administer payroll review utility billing reports and authorize account adjustments when necessary.
  • Stay updated on trends and developments in financial administration to maintain best practices.
  • Represent the company s financial interests at management and executive meetings.
  • Generate correspondence and compile detailed financial reports and summaries as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support company objectives.




Requirements


  • A Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g. ICAN ACCA CPA) is mandatory.
  • A minimum of Eight years of experience in a senior financial management role.
  • Indepth knowledge of IFRS and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. SAP QuickBooks) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Exceptional leadership organizational and problemsolving abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
