Our team is hiring local and traveling Sterile Processing Technicians to support our growing team. The Sterile Processing Technicians responsibilities include retrieving contaminated supplies and delivering sterile supplies maintaining inventory and preparing sterile instrument trays for surgeries examinations and procedures.
Were looking for a selfstarter who can manage their time effectively. The role requires drive and a sense of accountability because the daytoday working environment will involve very little direct supervision.
Responsibilities:
- Collecting used and contaminated equipment instruments and supplies for sorting and decontamination.
- Manually cleaning supplies of contaminants removing waste matter and operating and maintaining decontamination equipment.
- Preparing and packing decontaminated supplies for sterilization.
- Monitoring and operating sterilization equipment.
- Examining supplies meticulously to ensure they are properly cleaned and sanitized.
- Testing and reporting any issues or problems with the sterilization equipment.
- Sterilizing preparing wrapping and organizing equipment into instrument trays for use during medical procedures.
- Preparing and delivering all necessary equipment and instruments for surgeries examinations medical procedures and medical carts.
- Maintaining records of sterilization procedures sterilized items equipment maintenance and supplies.
- Controlling the inventory reordering supplies and checking expiration dates.

- Sterile Processing Technician Education Experience and Licensing Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 12 years experience in a Sterile Processing Department required.
- Certified SPD Technician HSPA/IAHCSMM CBSPD
- Must be able to speak read write and understand medical terminology in order to
- follow written instructions and complete various forms and records regarding
- equipment s processing and preparation of equipment s.
- Must be able to regularly lift to 30 lbs. stoop bend pull and place and
- retrieve material.

LOCAL PAY RATE: $17.00 $22.00 hourly
TRAVELER PAY RATE: $1800 $2175 weekly (includes per diem and lodging)
