Job Description
We re seeking a skilled Bookkeeper/Financial Analyst to play a crucial role in our financial operations. In this position you ll go beyond traditional bookkeeping diving into financial analysis and strategic planning for a dynamic healthcare business. You ll manage our QuickBooks Online system prepare vital KPIs and contribute to financial projections that directly influence business decisions. This role offers a unique blend of handson financial management and strategic thinking allowing you to apply your expertise in a meaningful way that supports our mission of enhancing elderly care.
Responsibilities
- Manage daytoday bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare comprehensive monthly profit and loss statements to track business performance
- Handle payroll processing and seamlessly map it to QuickBooks Online
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable maintaining healthy cash flow
- Develop and maintain weekly KPIs including metrics like billable hours and average hours per caregiver
- Collaborate with management to create insightful financial projections supporting strategic growth initiatives
- Ensure realtime financial reporting to facilitate agile decisionmaking in a fastpaced environment
- Manage invoicing across multiple business entities maintaining clarity and organization
- Provide valuable financial insights and recommendations to drive business success
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of handson bookkeeping experience showcasing a track record of accuracy and efficiency
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online with the ability to optimize its features for our business needs
- Proven experience in payroll processing and management particularly in servicebased industries
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable and receivable processes
- Demonstrated ability to calculate and interpret KPIs translating raw data into actionable insights
- Experience in creating financial projections and using them to guide business strategy
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts to nonfinancial stakeholders
- Selfmotivated with strong time management skills capable of thriving in a remote work environment
- Experience in healthcare or servicebased industries is a significant plus
- Ability to handle multiple business entities and adapt to the unique needs of each
