We are seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team and provide skilled nursing care across various facilities. These are local nontravel positions requiring candidates to be based near the assigned facilities.
As an LPN you will work under the supervision of a nurse manager providing care for adult psychiatric medical and geriatric patients in Acute Care Primary Care and Specialty Clinic settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver skilled nursing care aligned with the Licensed Practical Nurse Act and Vocational Nurse VA Qualification Standards.
- Manage patient care with increasing independence including:
- Administering medications (oral topical subcutaneous intramuscular intravenous).
- Monitoring and documenting patient responses to treatments.
- Reporting changes in patient conditions to RNs or MDs.
- Provide care for patients in Acute Care Med/Surg LongTerm Care Primary Care and Mental Health settings as required.
- Demonstrate strong teamwork communication and customer service skills.
- Maintain compliance with facility policies procedures and safety standards.
Work Schedule:
- Med/Surg LongTerm Care Mental Health Units: 12hour shifts including alternating weekends.
- Primary Care/Specialty Clinics: 8 10hour shifts Monday through Friday no weekends or holidays.
Requirements
- Current unrestricted LPN license in any U.S. state territory or the District of Columbia.
- Valid BLS/CPR certification (AHAaccredited).
- COVID19 vaccination (or documented exemption).
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the relevant care setting with work completed within the last 6 months.
