Job Description

This is a remote position.

The Senior Buyer will oversee the procurement and acquisition of vehicles for our large scale rental fleet. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing highvolume fleet purchases establishing and maintaining relationships with OEMs and leveraging incentive programs to optimize costs. This role will play a critical part in ensuring that our fleet meets operations needs aligns with budgetary goals and is acquired through the most advantageous programs against.

Key Responsibilities

Fleet Procurement:

Develop and execute strategies for purchasing vehicles to meet operational and budgetary

requirements.

Manage all aspects of fleet acquisition including negotiation contracts and vehicle

specifications.

OEM Relationships:

Establish and maintain direct relationships with OEMs and dealership networks.

Navigate the onboarding process with new OEMs including setting up agreements and account structures.

Monitor and ensure compliance with OEM program requirements.

Cost Optimization:

Negotiate VIP discount structures fleet incentive programs and other volumebased pricing opportunities.

Identify and utilize additional rebate incentive or support programs beneficial to largescale fleet purchasing.

Fleet Planning and Analysis:

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast fleet needs and establish acquisition plans that align with business goals.

Analyze market trends vehicle performance and lifecycle costs to guide purchasing decisions.

Vendor Management:

Maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery and quality of fleet assets.

Address issues related to order fulfillment quality and postdelivery services.

Compliance and Documentation:

Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations related to fleet acquisition and management.

Maintain accurate records of purchase agreements program participation and fleet inventory.



Requirements

Experience:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in fleet acquisition or fleet management

preferably in the rental industry.

Proven expertise in largescale vehicle purchasing and working directly with OEMs.

Skills:

Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to secure favorable pricing and

terms.

Familiarity with VIP discount structures fleet incentive programs and rebate

processes.

Analytical skills to evaluate costbenefit scenarios and fleet performance metrics.

Knowledge:

Comprehensive understanding of vehicle acquisition processes leasing options

and fleet management practices.

Uptodate knowledge of automotive industry trends and emerging fleet

technologies.

Other Requirements:

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Proficiency in fleet management systems and procurement software.

Ability to travel as needed to meet with OEMs vendors and other stakeholders.
