About the Role
The Recruitment Consultant plays a key role in connecting great talent with the business to ensure the continued delivery of outstanding services and client experience. Predominantly recruiting Accountants Bookkeepers and other related professionals the focus on ensuring candidate values alignment means this is more than a normal technical recruiter opportunity. This role presents a unique opportunity for the successful candidate to quickly become a key contributor to our clients fastgrowing team helping to shape the business for the longterm. Responsibilities include endtend recruitment activities including:
- Drafting and posting compelling job advertisements
- Proactive search and outreach through relevant channels
- Applicant prescreening screening and shortlisting
- Coordinating and supporting hiring managers through selection
- Interviewing and supporting hiring managers decision making
- Coordinating technical skill assessment
- Background and reference checking
- Scheduling and other administrative duties including preparing and distributing offers and onboarding documentation
- Maintaining relevant systems (inc. ATS) and talent pools)
Requirements
About You
You will bring your positive cando attitude entrepreneurial mindset professionalism and customer service focus and you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Business Administration/Management Commerce Human Resources Psychology (or a related field)
- A minimum of 3 years experience in a recruitment focused role (industry or agency/OPC)
- Basic knowledge of global and Australian Tax and Accounting concepts qualifications accreditations and industry requirements
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems online screening platforms and relevant sourcing channels
- Outstanding time management
- Excellent professional communication skills (both written and verbal)
- A strong committment to customer and customer experience and candidate care
- Demosntrated preference for valuesfocused recruitment
