Responsibilities
- Spearhead our talent acquisition efforts by crafting and posting compelling job advertisements that attract toptier construction professionals
- Engage with potential candidates through various channels conducting initial screenings to identify the best fit for our clients needs
- Take charge of the full sales cycle from lead generation to successful placement ensuring a seamless experience for both candidates and clients
- Leverage your persuasive communication skills to sell our candidates expertise to potential clients highlighting the unique value they bring to construction projects
- Negotiate rates and terms with clients striking the perfect balance between competitive pricing and fair compensation for our talent pool
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified candidates and potential clients constantly expanding our network in the construction industry
- Collaborate with our marketing team to align sales strategies with broader company initiatives maximizing our reach and impact in the market
- Stay ahead of industry trends and labor market conditions using this knowledge to provide valuable insights to both candidates and clients
Requirements
- 35 years of proven success in B2B sales preferably in recruitment or staffing for the construction industry is a must
- Deep understanding of the construction sector including knowledge of various trades such as electrical carpentry and general labor
- Exceptional communication skills with a natural ability to build rapport and trust over the phone
- Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a fastpaced environment
- Resilience and persistence in handling objections with the ability to turn challenges into opportunities
- Proficiency in CRM systems and basic computer skills with a willingness to adapt to new technologies
- Strong analytical skills to qualify candidates effectively and match them with the right opportunities
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a teamoriented culture
- Passion for the construction industry and a genuine interest in helping people advance their careers
- Familiarity with the New Zealand construction market is highly desirable but not mandatory your eagerness to learn and adapt is key!
