Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are seeking a Staff Product Designer to join or team.
Responsibilities:
- Design for Scale: Build and refine products to scale with thousands of customers ensuring usercentric design for diverse use cases.
- Obsess Over Craft: Sweat the details strive for simplicity and seamlessly connect projects to make complex financial and accounting tasks approachable.
- Experiment and Innovate: Drive experimentation user testing and measurement to refine the product and ensure iterative alignment with customer needs.
- Be a CrossFunctional Leader: Collaborate closely with business operations marketing sales product and engineering teams to shape product vision and execution.
- Set the Design Standard: Lead by example mentor and manage team members and foster a design culture of quality feedback and continuous improvement.
- Stay HandsOn: Own the endtoend design process from discovery and wireframes to highfidelity prototypes and design specifications.
Requirements
- Startup Experience: At least seven years of experience designing and shipping highquality products at scale in fastpaced environments with shifting priorities with a portfolio showcasing relevant projects. Adaptable to ambiguity and handson problemsolving.
- Design Expertise: Proven ability to translate complex business and product challenges into pragmatic elegant design solutions and a deep understanding of how designs are implemented in code.
- Fintech Experience (Preferred): Familiarity with designing financial or accounting tools or experience working with dense datarich interfaces.
- Customer Obsession: Deep empathy for users and a commitment to addressing their pain points effectively.
- AI Exploration: Passion for leveraging AI to optimize design workflows improve processes or even conceptualise and build an AIdriven product design assistant.
- Systematic Thinking: Experience creating and maintaining design systems for complex products.
- Leadership: Strong mentorship skills with the ability to inspire and guide team members toward exceptional outcomes. Proven track record of building highperforming design teams.
