Job Overview
The HSE Officer is responsible for enforcing compliance with Quality Health and Safety Polices .
Responsibilities
- Monitor Fire fighting equipment to ensure that maintenance schedule is adhered to
- Monitor operational activities and ensure compliance with QHSE policies
- Ensure JHA are conducted for routine and nonroutine activities
- Conduct daily QHSE Performance reporting to QHSE Manager
- Ensure and enforce compliance with QHSE Policies.
- Administer First Aid functions in cases of emergency
- Organize and execute daily tool box meeting
- Carry out daily HSE Statistics reporting
- Conduct daily facility Safety inspection
- Assist in performing IMS Internal Audit
- Compliance to quality health safety policies and procedures
- Compliance to QHSSE regulations
- Statutory Permit processing and Project risk appraisal and Management
- Support in bid documentation
- Accident and Incident investigation & reporting
- Security reporting
Skill Requirement
- Communication Strong communication skills are critical for relaying information clearly
- Reporting The ability to document events incidents or progress in a clear and concise manner is important particularly in the context of workplace safety or emergency management.
- First Aid Knowledge of basic first aid practices (like CPR wound care or treating burns) is essential for handling medical emergencies until professional help arrives.
- Basic Fire Fighting Understanding how to use fire extinguishers and other firefighting equipment as well as knowing basic fire safety protocols can be lifesaving in a fire emergency.
