As a Personal Tax Senior you will play a key role within the firm s tax team managing a portfolio of personal tax clients and ensuring the highest level of service delivery. You ll work alongside an experienced team of professionals providing expertise in personal tax compliance and advisory services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of personal tax clients including highnetworth individuals sole traders partnerships and directors.
- Prepare and review selfassessment tax returns to ensure compliance with HMRC regulations.
- Provide tax planning advice and support clients with taxefficient strategies.
- Identify opportunities for advisory work and collaborate with the team to deliver tailored solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients acting as a trusted advisor.
- Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients to resolve queries and compliance matters.
- Keep up to date with changes in tax legislation and share knowledge with the wider team.
- Assist in mentoring and supporting junior team members as required.
Requirements
About You
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- Previous experience working in a personal taxfocused role within an accountancy practice or similar professional services environment.
- A relevant qualification such as ATT CTA or equivalent or working towards completion.
- Strong technical knowledge of personal tax compliance and an interest in tax planning/advisory work.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong client relationships.
- A proactive and detailoriented approach with excellent organizational skills.
