Job Description

Studio Manager at DesignLed Architecture Practice

Are you a highly organised and proactive professional looking to take on a key role in a dynamic and growing architecture practice A designled studio in West London is seeking a Studio Manager to oversee the daily operations and ensure the smooth running of the practice. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fastpaced environment and enjoys a varied and handson role.

As Studio Manager you will be responsible for the daytoday operations of the studio supporting everything from office management and HR to finance project coordination and marketing. You’ll ensure that office services run smoothly collaborate with external consultants and help organise team events and CPD sessions. You will also play a vital role in recruitment and onboarding maintaining staff records and ensuring a positive and structured work environment.

Working closely with accountants and bookkeepers you’ll manage expenses invoices payroll reports and VAT returns. You’ll also assist the directors in business development helping to create studio portfolios manage new business opportunities and coordinate participation in networking events and industry fairs. Your marketing skills will be put to use in managing the studio’s website and social media platforms coordinating award submissions and curating engaging content that reflects the practice’s design ethos.

The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently. You should be proactive and solutionoriented with excellent communication skills and a natural ability to build positive relationships across the team. Experience in studio or office management project coordination or HR is highly desirable and proficiency in InDesign Illustrator and Photoshop is essential.
