Our client is a privately owned singlefamily office based in Nigeria focusing on brokering and delivering attractive largeticket transactions in Africa. They operate in Real Estate Agriculture Oil and Gas Financial Services and Venture Capital. They are seeking a selfstarter with strong attention to detail and analytical skills to join them as a Finance Analyst. The Finance Analyst will actively be involved and work across their various work streams including venture capital Real Estate Agriculture Oil and Gas and Financial Services. The ideal candidate will manage daytoday accounting operations ensure accurate financial reporting and support budgeting and forecasting activities. This position requires a strong foundation in accounting principles financial analysis and attention to detail.
Job Responsibilities:
Financial Operations:
- Process biweekly payments and manage expense recording
- Lead payroll operations for multiple entities liaising with external consultants
- Prepare monthly expenditure reports manage document storage and compile quarterly reports
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
- Develop annual budgets and create cash flow statements as needed
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports for portfolio companies
Treasury and Investment Management:
- Oversee treasury operations including cash position maintenance and foreign exchange management
- Assist in managing external investments and identifying new investment opportunities
Strategic Development:
- Work with partners to support the identification and development of new business lines.
- Support company restructuring initiatives and manage company setup/winddown processes
Asset Management:
- Actively manage existing assets across the portfolio
- Contribute to the sustained growth and value of the firm and portfolio companies
Budget Management:
- Develop and track multiple budgets across a variety of sectors (finance agriculture real estate)
- Track cash flows against budget suggest improvements
Requirements
- Minimum of Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or related field.
- Strong foundation in financial analysis asset management and business development.
- Excellent quantitative skills and proficiency in financial modeling.
- Selfmotivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Adaptability to manage varying workloads and priorities across multiple sectors.
- Exceptional communication skills for interacting with partners and stakeholders.
