Job Description
As a Functional Test Engineer you will:
- Perform functional testing within the BSS (Business Support Systems) domain ensuring all systems meet functional requirements.
- Work with online charging solutions particularly Oracle BRM (Billing and Revenue Management) and Oracle ECE (Elastic Charging Engine) to test and validate charging functionalities.
- Execute detailed test plans independently ensuring thorough test coverage and timely execution.
- Apply logical problemsolving techniques to identify and resolve issues in test execution and improve overall test quality.
- Work in cloudnative environments adapting testing strategies to cloudbased applications and architectures.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure all test objectives are achieved.
- Provide clear and concise feedback on test results and work closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve defects.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in functional testing preferably within the BSS domain.
- Experience working with online charging solutions with a strong preference for Oracle BRM and Oracle ECE knowledge.
- Proven ability to execute test plans independently ensuring comprehensive testing across all functional areas.
- Experience in cloudnative environments with an understanding of testing strategies for cloudbased applications.
- Strong logical problemsolving skills to improve test execution and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to document test cases results and defects.
- Knowledge of automation testing tools or frameworks.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with developers business analysts and stakeholders.
You should possess the ability to:
- Independently execute functional test plans and ensure complete test coverage.
- Work efficiently in cloudnative environments adapting your approach to different cloud architectures.
- Troubleshoot and identify issues within complex systems applying logical problemsolving techniques.
- Communicate test results clearly to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
