Senior Engine Calibration Engineer Engine Tuning MAP

• Objective of the Role
  • Lead the development of the MAP domain for on of the following perimetres (GPL R2M Drivability OBD Diag Emissions).
  • Deploy calibration and validation methodologies across the client sites.
  • Align activities with technical specifications project timelines and testing requirements.
• Responsibilities
  • Familiarize with the Scope of Work (CdC) technical definitions (DT) project planning and necessary testing resources.
  • Plan activities in collaboration with the project lead or technical referents to ensure alignment with project schedules and milestones.
  • Define execute and analyze tests or simulations required for system calibration and validation following industry standards.
  • Perform calibration of relevant labels while considering crossfunctional constraints and maintaining traceability.
  • Monitor testing resources ensure consumption aligns with project standards and alert the team leader for deviations to create corrective action plans.
  • Draft test sheets (FE) for MAP engineers 

Qualifications :

Experience & Domain Expertise

• Proven experience in calibration engineering ( more then 5 years )
• Strong management skills ( Team & Technical ) 

Technical Proficiency

• Calibration Tools: Expertise in INCA Matlab and CRETA.
• Programming: Proficiency in relevant programming languages for calibration and modeling.
• Engine: Solid understanding of systems related to powertrain ( engine ) components and their calibration methodologies.
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with REMS/AEMS for engine control systems.

Project Management Skills

• Ability to plan monitor and execute project activities in alignment with overall timelines.
• Skilled in resource management including test facilities and corrective action planning.

Regulatory and Methodological Knowledge

• Indepth understanding of calibration methodologies validation processes and industry standards for emissions compliance & combustion .
• Knowledge of GMP related to calibration and system validation.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities for testing and calibration validation.
• Effective communication skills to report progress and interact with crossfunctional teams.
• Ability to interpret technical documents in English.
