Job Description

- Permanent full time opportunity based in Perth
Network Aviation is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Qantas Group providing highcapacity air charter and regular passenger transport services. We operate a fleet of F100 and A320/A319 jet aircraft from our base at Perth Airport and specialise in mining industry charters regional airline services routine and emergency freight and corporate charter flying.
As the Fleet Safety Coordinator you will promote a strong safety culture and wellbeing within Flight Operations. Supporting the Flight Operations and Quality Assurance (FOQA) Safety and Investigations Manager your key responsibilities include monitoring FOQA data analysing trends and recommending improvements as well as coordinating LOSA observations across all fleets. You will also oversee a small team of Fleet Safety Investigators to conduct business unit investigations and assessments.
Applicants who hold a current CASA ATPL (A) or frozen ATPL (A) may also have the opportunity to maintain currency as a pilot and conduct line flying operations as required.
Youll have
- Strong communication skills to promote safety culture
- Previous experience in a safetyfocused role
- Experience in managing a team and conducting investigations
- Ability to analyse data trends and recommend improvements
- Familiarity with flight operations and safety management systems such as Intelex
- Operational experience within aviation preferably with F100 and A320 aircraft types
- Demonstrated ability to quickly identify key opportunities and issues and develop and implement best practice strategies for resolution
- Experience and/or tertiary qualifications in aviation safety flight operations investigating and auditing
- Effective prioritisation and time management
