- Conduct research on complex legal topics related to investment funds and provide bespoke legal solutions.
- Draft and contribute to legal memoranda practice notes client briefings and coordinate internal and external publications.
- Prepare client communications to share Clifford Chances expertise and knowledge.
- Stay updated on market and technical developments in the private funds industry and maintain knowhow resources.
- Collaborate with colleagues for timely knowledge sharing and best practice development.
- Work with the Best Delivery Team to identify and implement process improvements and conduct quality control.
- Develop and support thought leadership initiatives and organise team training and inductions.
- Keep up to date with legal developments and disseminate updates to the team.
- Contribute to the junior lawyer education program.
- Gather and manage the departments knowhow and contribute to the knowledge collection.
- Organize regular internal meetings and conferences to share legal updates and knowledge.
- Maintain and enhance the template library.
- Identify areas for development and organize the creation of new templates.
- Update knowledge platforms monitor databases and gather and index information and documents.
- Ensure coordination and alignment of legal knowledge management initiatives within the Luxembourg office and across the firm.
- Actively participate in local and global knowledge management initiatives.
Qualifications :
- An excellent academic background in law.
- 3 to 5 years of experience as a lawyer/advisor related to investment funds.
- Experience in drafting and publishing articles organizing conferences and providing training.
- Strong project management skills.
- Good analytical and research skills.
- Strong presentation and communication skills both verbal and written.
- Enthusiastic positive and proactive attitude with a pragmatic and handson approach.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Fluency in English and French. German and/or Luxembourgish would be considered an asset.
- Strong command of Word PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Experience in using knowledge management tools and software is a plus.
