As a member of our Litigation and Dispute Resolution (LDR) team you will be involved in a variety of tasks aimed at providing legal services to our clients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Engaging in litigation advice and settlement discussions.
- Preparing procedural documents such as court applications motions written submissions notes for oral pleadings legal exhibits and documentary evidence and handling judicial and arbitration proceedings.
- Drafting client memoranda and correspondence.
- Formalizing contracts and formal notice letters.
- Conducting legal research across various practice areas including commercial law contract law criminal law litigation and arbitration.
- Providing support to the entire LDR practice as well as other practices within our firm.
- Keeping up with new developments in laws regulations case law and legal doctrine and assisting clients with these updates during fortnightly department meetings.
Qualifications :
- Ideally you have 02 years of experience in litigation and dispute resolution preferably gained within a reputable Luxembourg law firm. You possess excellent knowledge of civil and commercial law.
- You are ideally admitted to the Liste II or to the Liste IV or you are currently undertaking your qualification.
- You have a perfect command of French and English with excellent writing skills. Additional language skills particularly in German and/or Luxembourgish are considered an asset.
- Knowledge and experience in criminal law are considered an asset.
- You demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Commitment team spirit and strong communication skills are essential qualities for success in our stimulating environment.
