Job Title: Obstetrics/Gynecology MD/DO

Job Type: Locum Tenens

Location: Burlington NC

Service Setting: Inpatient

Coverage Type: Call Only

Coverage Period: May 1 2025 Ongoing

Call Schedule:

Fri Mon: 8a 8a

Wed Thurs

Call Type: Beeper

PATIENT INFORMATION

Patient Demographics: Adults Ages 16 65

Patient Volume: Low

Case Mix: Labor & Delivery (L&D) Postpartum (PP) Emergency Room (ER) coverage backup to Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs)

FACILITY INFORMATION

Trauma Level: Level II IV

EMR System: Epic

PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required: Yes

REQUIRED PROCEDURES

Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Postpartum (PP) Care

ER Coverage

Backup to Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs)

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Active NC License

DEA

Minimum 3 years in specialty

COVID19 and Flu vaccinated

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide 24hour oncall coverage for Labor & Delivery Postpartum and ER patients

Serve as backup for Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs)

Manage obstetric and gynecologic emergencies as needed

Complete documentation using the Epic EMR system

Adhere to hospital and department policies regarding patient care
