About the role
LendInvest has a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and targetdriven Bridging Sales Manager capable of procuring new business opportunities while delivering an exceptional level of service to clients in need of funding for shortterm lending. This role requires handson management of shortterm lending broker relationships and effectively leading a highperforming team.
The role involves nationwide coverage with an initial focus on transacting deals up to 5m of bridging and opportunities for larger transactions on a casebycase basis. In addition you will lead and manage a team of 5 Bridging Business Development Managers (BDMs) working closely with them to drive performance and achieve targets. Youll report directly to the Director of Bridging Finance and play a critical role in shaping the success of the bridging sales team.
About your work
Lead mentor and manage a team of 5 Bridging Business Development Managers (BDMs) providing guidance support and coaching to achieve individual and team performance targets.
Conduct regular performance reviews and set clear objectives to ensure alignment with the businesss strategic goals.
Foster a positive and collaborative team culture encouraging professional growth and knowledge sharing.
Develop & maintain relationships with key introducers and relevant market contacts.
Work closely with the team head to assess new business opportunities.
Liaise with relevant internal departments (i.e. Credit Legal & Treasury).
Source establish & nurture relationships with brokers and direct borrowers.
Promote and cultivate new business and partnership opportunities.
Establish initiatives to generate both internal and external referral and enquiry pipelines.
Undertake due diligence on prospective clients investments & project opportunities.
Prepare and present proposals to financial stakeholders; present webinars and external presentations on bridging when required.
Oversee and manage your pipeline effectively balancing time between driving new and repeat business working closely with underwriters and handling administrative tasks (e.g. email enquiries portal enquiries and calls).
Draft credit papers for larger loan transactions if required.
Drive the team to meet and exceed sales targets while maintaining high standards of service delivery.
Contribute to strategic planning and provide feedback on market trends and client needs to influence product development.
About you
Prior real estate bridging & development finance experience at a similar lender would be preferable.
Demonstrated experience managing and leading a sales team with a track record of achieving team targets.
A clear and confident communicator at all levels (facetoface verbal & written).
Strong presentation skills and the ability to form personable relationships quickly.
An ability to build and maintain longterm business relationships.
A detailed approach with excellent organisational and timemanagement skills.
