Job Description

We are looking for a Data Integration & Production Support Engineer who can Manage and troubleshoot Informatica workflows ensure seamless ETL processes across SQL Oracle and Teradata and optimize database performance. Handle incident resolution system monitoring and collaboration with technical and business teams to maintain efficient data operations and support production environments.

Key Responsibilities:


1. Data Integration Support:
Monitor maintain and troubleshoot Informatica workflows for data processing and integration within the VLM platform.
Ensure seamless data extraction transformation and loading (ETL) processes between SQL Oracle and Teradata environments.

2. Database Management: Perform SQL query optimization data validation and integrity checks to ensure accurate reporting and analytics.
Support Teradata database operations including performance tuning and managing large datasets.

3. Incident and Issue Resolution:
Identify analyze and resolve production incidents and performance issues related to VLM.
Perform root cause analysis and implement solutions to prevent recurring issues.

4. System Monitoring and Maintenance:
Proactively monitor system health database performance and ETL workflows to prevent disruptions.
Manage scheduled jobs and scripts for daily and periodic data processing tasks.

5 Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with business users to gather requirements and address concerns.
Collaborate with development teams to implement enhancements and fixes.

6. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:
Maintain updated documen with tation for workflows system configurations and troubleshooting steps.
Share insights and resolutionsteam members to enhance collective knowledge.

Mandatory Skill Sets:
4 years of experience in production support including managing onpremise and cloudbased systems.
Strong handson experience with Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica PowerExchange (PWX) for ETL processes.
Proficiency in SQL with expertise in Oracle and Teradata for troubleshooting data manipulation and query optimization.
Experience in data integration and managing data flows between databases including data migration and transformation tasks.
Indepth understanding of database management systems such as Teradata Oracle and SQL Server.
Proven ability to monitor and troubleshoot production environments with a focus on maintaining database integrity and performance.
Familiarity with system monitoring tools such as Splunk Datadog or similar for realtime monitoring of workflows jobs and system health.
Solid troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills with the ability to analyze logs debug issues and implement solutions quickly.
Knowledge of incident management processes using tools like ServiceNow (SNOW) for ticketing change management and escalation procedures.
Ability to perform database performance tuning including query optimization indexing and partitioning strategies.
Proficiency in using scripting languages (e.g. Python Shell) for automation and process improvement.
Experience working with business teams to identify requirements troubleshoot production issues and provide efficient solutions.

The successful candidate will work closely with both technical and nontechnical teams to resolve production incidents perform root cause analysis monitor systems and ensure that all systems and data pipelines run efficiently. This role also involves managing deployments handling escalations and ensuring that servicelevel agreements (SLAs) are met.
