About the role and practice
We have an opportunity for a Trainee Dental Nurse to join our Scotts Arms practice in Birmingham.
No previous dental experience is needed for this role. If you have a genuine interest in health and wellbeing are passionate about delivering great service and looking for a career where you can learn grow and develop then this could be a perfect fit for you.
- Fulltime hours
- Typical shifts are 8.30am5.30pm
- Training supported by our highly experienced team your course will be overseen by an external course provider and is fully funded by PortmanDentex
With over 30 years of experience Scott Arms Dental Practice is an award winning practice providing predominantly private dental care and treatment. We carry out general dentistry implants orthodontic treatments periodontal and hygiene treatments.
No previous dental experience is needed for this role. If you have a genuine interest in health and wellbeing possess a specific interest in dentistry and have an aptitude to learn grow and develop we want to hear from you. At Portman Dentex you will have the resources and support you need to help you succeed in becoming a fully qualified Dental Nurse
About you
We welcome your application to our Trainee Dental Nurse vacancy if you have the following skills and qualifications:
- GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or above are essential to undertake the course
- Enjoy working as part of a team and are a good communicator who thrives upon delivering excellent standards of patient care
- Happy to be a key player in the team providing chairside assistance ensuring that the correct materials and equipment are available during each clinical session
- Comfortable learning to perform high quality dental nursing whilst assisting each dentist hygienist or therapist in all procedures
