Job Description: Avantis Resources is seeking a mid to seniorlevel Real Estate Construction Associate with a minimum of 4 years of experience to join a dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in reviewing drafting and negotiating contracts related to real estate development with a focus on construction design and development agreements. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex real estate construction matters within a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review draft and negotiate construction contracts design agreements and other related documents for real estate development projects.
- Advise clients on risk management compliance and regulatory issues pertaining to construction and development.
- Collaborate with clients contractors architects and other stakeholders to facilitate successful project outcomes.
- Conduct and oversee due diligence processes related to construction and development projects.
- Stay current on evolving construction laws building codes and industry standards to provide clients with uptodate advice.
Requirements
J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
Admission to the Florida Bar (or eligibility for admission).
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in real estate construction law preferably within a large law firm or reputable boutique firm.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fastpaced environment.
Exceptional analytical research and writing skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
Teamoriented with an emphasis on collaboration.
Effective and efficient problemsolving capabilities with the ability to work independently and proactively.
Fluency in Spanish is a plus but is not required.
