The Company is seeking to hire a dynamic and resultsdriven Retail Sales Manager to lead and expand the company s agency footprint in each region of Nigeria.
Job Objective: This role will recruit train and manage retail sales associates (RSAs) and agents drive revenue generation through product sales and increase brand awareness in their assigned region.
This role requires a leader with deep knowledge of regional markets strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build connections with local communities.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership:
Develop and execute retail sales strategies to achieve revenue targets in the assigned region.
Drive the adoption of the companys insurance products through agents RSAs and direct sales.
Monitor and evaluate sales performance metrics ensuring optimal productivity and growth.
Team Management:
Recruit train and mentor a highperforming team of retail sales associates and agents.
Provide continuous coaching feedback and development opportunities for team members.
Foster a collaborative and motivated team culture aligned with company goals.
Agency and Network Expansion:
Identify onboard and manage new agents to increase the company s footprint in the region.
Build relationships with local businesses and community leaders to drive brand awareness.
Strategically expand retail locations and agency partnerships in underserved areas.
Product Knowledge and Training:
Ensure agents and RSAs are welltrained on insurance products sales techniques and company policies.
Regularly organize training sessions workshops and performance reviews.
Stay updated on product developments and ensure seamless communication with the team.
Brand Advocacy and Local Engagement:
Represent the company as a brand ambassador in the assigned region building trust and credibility.
Develop campaigns tailored to regional demographics to maximize product uptake.
Gather feedback from customers and agents to inform product and service improvements.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Revenue and sales growth in the assigned region.
Number of new agents and RSAs recruited and retained.
Brand visibility and local market penetration.
Agent and RSA productivity and performance metrics.
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or in any related field.
5 years of experience in retail sales or insurance with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Demonstrated success in sales leadership team management and regional business expansion.
Strong understanding of building and maintaining agency networks in Nigeria with an initial focus on South West.
Understanding of the Nigerian insurance market and regional dynamics is an added advantage.
Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to connect with and influence diverse stakeholders.
Strong leadership and teambuilding skills.
Strategic thinking and problemsolving ability.
Proficiency in sales analytics and reporting.
Cultural sensitivity and adaptability.
Compensation: Pay ranges BTW N650k to 800k monthly net and sales commission official car and driver.
