Job Description
- We seek highly skilled and experienced Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our laboratory team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing laboratory tests and analyses on patient samples providing accurate and reliable results to support diagnosis treatment and patient care. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and detailoriented professional to contribute to the delivery of highquality patient care.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Collect patient specimens according to established procedures properly label and prepare samples for analysis.
Perform a variety of laboratory tests including hematology Clinical Chemistry Microbiology Immunoassay and Urinalysis
Regularly conduct quality control and quality assurance procedures on instruments and reagents to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.
Accurately record and report test results to the Physician promptly. Providing recommendations for further testing or treatment as needed.
Adherence to all laboratory safety protocols infection control guidelines as well as regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Medical Laboratory Science. Additional qualifications will be an added advantage
Specific Certification or Licenses:
Must be registered with the Medical Laboratory Council of Nigeria
Valid Practicing license
