Job Description
We are seeking skilled Lifeguards & Swimming Trainers to join Saudi Arabias premier fitness and wellness facilities. This role is ideal for water safety professionals who are passionate about maintaining a safe and enjoyable swimming environment while also delivering highquality swim training. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all pool users conducting engaging swimming lessons for diverse age groups and maintaining cleanliness and water quality standards. Key Responsibilities:
Lifeguarding & Safety:
- Ensure the safety of all pool users by maintaining order and enforcing pool rules and emergency procedures.
- Monitor swimmers identify hazards and intervene when necessary to prevent accidents.
- Respond to emergencies perform water rescues and administer first aid including CPR when required.
- Oversee the wet area including the sauna jacuzzi and steam room ensuring cleanliness and proper functionality.
- Conduct regular inspections of the swimming area reporting maintenance or safety concerns to management.
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining proper pool chemical levels ensuring water quality and compliance with safety standards.
Swimming Training & Member Engagement:
- Plan and lead group and individual swimming lessons catering to various skill levels and backgrounds.
- Assess participants needs goals and fears to design personalized swimming programs.
- Encourage members to participate in swimming competitions events and other aquatic programs.
- Assist in launching new swimming classes and programs as directed by management.
- Maintain personal swim fitness and participate in regular swimming and lifeguard assessments.
Facility Maintenance & Operations:
- Conduct daily pool cleaning vacuuming and ongoing clean as you go maintenance practices.
- Monitor jacuzzi temperature and conditions reporting any maintenance needs.
- Perform routine inspections of the sauna and steam rooms ensuring they are in optimal condition.
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices and safety protocols.
- Support events and competitions in the swimming area ensuring smooth operations.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years in a related field
Lifeguard certificate accredited from Saudi lifesaving federation CPR & First Aid .
Teaching swimming certificate or equivalent.
