Job Description
Our client a wellestablished and rapidly growing leader in the AudioVisual Solutions industry is seeking an AV Field Service Engineer to service their corporate clients; you wil be based out of their Mechanicsburg PA office.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting reinstallation and maintenance of electronic audio/visual equipment installing and servicing the systems in the most efficient and effective manner to assure minimum down time and maximum performance.
- Communicating system performance to the customer and to the Service Department or Installation Department.
- Assist the Technical Operations team in performing installation and system commissioning work as needed.
- Clear communication documentation and organization of paperwork tools and the company vehicle are a necessary function of the position.
- Travel to client sites as well as occasional outoftown travel may be required.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Field Commissioning of AV Systems and other Engineering related duties.
- The final commissioning of audiovisual equipment including but not limited to audio DSPs CODECs switchers control systems VTC systems and video processors.
- Create user guides and train end users on how to use their A/V control systems.
- Refine current processes develop a better workflow and make recommendations.
- Work closely with the Technical Operations team the Installation Manager and the Manager of AV Integration while assuring a professional and safe working environment.
- Other duties as required or assigned by company management.
