Job Description:
Avantis Resources is seeking a Trusts & Estates Associate with 36 years of experience to join a highly respected and dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estate planning trust and estate administration and tax planning strategies. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex and sophisticated matters while growing within a collaborative environment. Expanding practice to support our Florida offices (Boca Raton Miami or West Palm Beach)
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft and review comprehensive estate planning documents including wills trusts and related instruments.
- Handle trust and estate administration matters including probate proceedings and fiduciary accounting.
- Advise clients on estate gift and generationskipping transfer tax planning strategies.
- Collaborate with clients financial advisors and other professionals to develop tailored wealth preservation strategies.
- Stay up to date on evolving trusts & estates laws and tax regulations to ensure compliance and best practices.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
- Admission to the state bar.
- 36 years of relevant experience in trusts & estates with a focus on tax implications.
- Exceptional analytical research and writing skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
